
Head to Head Challenges

Event overview:

The emphasis is on fun. All exercises are mentally stimulating and highlight the importance of planning, communication and organisational skills. The teams take part in a series of head to head challenges with points or money being awarded to the winning team of each challenge, at the end of the day the points or money is added up and the winning team in announced.

Listed below are a few examples of the activities on offer;

Emergency Camp
Half the team are blindfolded and must erect the tent whilst the remainder of the team have the job of support and instruction. The sighted and unsighted team members must work together to correctly assemble the tent, giving the unsighted group emergency shelter.
Puzzle Corner
On puzzle how many shapes! The teams must race against the clock completing as many shapes as possible for the odd shaped bits of wood.
Jenga Challenge
Your Challenge is to build the tower as high as possible without it collapsing. The team must take it in turns to remove a single block at a time. When the block is removed you must place it at the top of the tower. You can only remove the blocks below the third level from the top. When you feel you can build no more call in the surveyor who will measure your towers height. Remember if the tower collapses before it is measured you will lose points!
Cane & Able
To work together a team in the simple task of placing the cane on the ground.
